Everyone
is looking for a gimmick. Someway to make their band
jump out from the crowd. In such a saturated market
of wannabes, "flash in the pan" tricks, and monkeys
to the record industry, everyone is struggling to
breathe the air of acknowledgement. So how do you
describe the music of Broken View? It is a tricky
question. We all have a story to tell. Ours happens
to be filled with lots of disappointment, misguided
hope and moments of temporary insanity. However the
remedy seems to be an undying
passion
for music.

We
are a little odd. Not crazy, or rock star dramatic.
Just a little off color. The outlook we have is well,
broken. People always ask to describe our sound. I almost
always respond "label jars not music." Yet the sole
purpose of this bio is to give you a taste of what Broken
View is. Well I will describe our music like a mixed
drink. We are mostly post-alt-rock whiskey, just enough
of a bite to get you going, but not harsh. Add a splash
singer/songwriter with a twist of southern flare. Bruce
Springsten went alt-rock? I do not know.
Simple straightforward music.
