Grant Gebler -
Bassist and backup vocals

Well it feels stupid trying to write about yourself and your music. While Mickie tends to pick on me. I got two words... IDIOT BLINKER. Want a funny story just ask Mickie what it is like to wake up hung-over in a boat in the middle of a lake in a foreign country. Well enough funny stuff. HI. My name is Grant and I am a so-cal kid. I love all things creative. I have been making music all my life. Played the piano for years. The alto sax for three years. Even can hack on drums and percussion. In eighth grade I bought my first acoustic guitar for $30 from Casey a member of the band Shadowdrop (www.shadowdrop.com). I immediately started taking lessons. That Christmas my parents were cool enough to buy me a black Washburn electric guitar. That was it. I was hooked. I played in a few small bands through out high school and after. Back when Bow actually still had hair. Tom DeLonge of Blink-182 judged our battle of the bands. We got second. Eventually all the musicians I knew had moved a way, stopped playing, or are too messed up on drugs. I moved up to Isla Vista, California in 2002. I did nothing but play guitar, eat at FreeBirds, get wasted and play Frisbee golf. One night while watching a crap band play. I had a drunken epiphany. I hadn't played in a band for years and I realized I missed it. So I returned back to Encinitas to recover and regroup. I had met Mickie at his work when picking up my sister from work. Later on we started jamming at the open mic at Fat Katz. The first time I went over to Mick's house his dog bit me. I don't know if the dog is retarded, didn't like me, or was jealous that Mick was stealing his hair style. I knew from that point on we had a good thing going. I played bass for awhile. I guess Mickie thought I was smart because of my enormous cranium. Boy was he wrong. Eventually Rob left, and the lineup changed. So I finally got to switch over to my favorite instrument, guitar. That lineup didn't last long so now we are a three piece. The rest is history in the making. If you run into me I am very quiet and reserved. But, please say hello and introduce yourself. I hope you enjoy listening to us as much as I enjoy performing for people. ENJOY!
